Vidar Consulting is sole proprietorship owned and run by Dr. Magnus Campler.

I have a MSc in animal behavior and laboratory animal science from Linkoping University, Sweden, and a PhD in Animal Science from Aarhus University in Denmark.

During my academic career, I have 18 years of professional experience conducting agricultural research spanning multiple species such as dairy cattle, pigs and poultry. My key expertise is animal behavior analysis, animal welfare and management, disease spread mitigation and prevention, biosecurity planning, and agricultural surveys.

After nearly two decades of agricultural research, Vidar Consulting was started in 2024 to provide producers, educational institutions, and agricultural stakeholders with consulting services related to research projects and biosecurity planning.

To date, I have contributed to close to 50 peer-reviewed publications and have established a wide international network of colleagues and collaborators. [Publications]
